Produced in California between 1974 and 1979, only 755 TB1000A Artist models were made, making this a particularly desirable instrument for collectors and players alike. The Artist features a carved, bookmatched Koa body, aluminium neck construction, block fingerboard inlays and Travis Bean’s unmistakable open-cut headstock.

The aluminium neck extends through the body to the bridge, providing the exceptional rigidity, sustain and stability that Travis Bean guitars are renowned for. With a 24.75" scale, 22-fret fingerboard, dual humbuckers, three-way switching and independent volume and tone controls, the TB1000A combines its unconventional construction with a highly usable electric guitar format. A rare and historically significant instrument with serious rock pedigree, this pre-owned TB1000A is an exceptional addition to any high-end guitar collection.

This particular model has been modified by the original owner to have a single coil pickup in the middle position with a push/pull pot to engage it in the circuit.

Does not come with original hard case

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0735/6599/5196/files/Pre-Owned-Travis-Bean-TB1000A-Main.webp?v=1790131638
