After being acquired by Fender in 1975 and reactivated as a company in 1982, Squier began to manufacture more affordable versions of Fender’s flagship designs. Soon, people started to take notice of the quality and workmanship of these guitars.

Now, Squier guitars and basses are played by both students and pros; artists such as J Mascis, John 5, Jim Root and Simon Neil all have signature Squier models.There is a range of different guitars and basses available with the Classic Vibe series offering a vintage look and feel and the Vintage Modified series providing a similar feel but with modern functionality.
