Death By Audio are a pedal manufacturer out of Brooklyn, New York founded in 2002 by Oliver Ackermann from the band A Place To Bury Strangers. Since this time they have been specializing in fuzz and other noise making devices being used by the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Wilco, Ty Segull, Thee Oh Sees, TV On The Radio, Spoon and The Flaming Lips to name just a few. They have a fresh and innovative approach to pedal making that make Death By Audio effects extremely distinct as well as versatile and just as usable on bass or keys as they are on guitar. It's no wonder that popular models such as the Interstellar Overdriver , Fuzz War , Echo Dream 2 , Reverberation Machine and Supersonic Fuzz Gun can be seen on many pedalboards the world over.
