A beautifully executed recreation of one of Fender’s most formative instruments, the Fender Custom Shop 1952 Telecaster Super Heavy Relic captures the unmistakable character of an early Blackguard-era Telecaster with an uncompromising level of vintage detail. Finished in Aged Nocaster Blonde, the Super Heavy Relic® Flash Coat Lacquer treatment gives the instrument the appearance and character of a well-loved vintage original, with every detail designed to evoke the earliest years of the Telecaster.

The 2-piece select ash body is paired with a 1-piece quartersawn maple neck featuring a comfortable ’57-style Soft “V” profile and 9.5" radius. Underneath the period-correct styling are a set of Custom Shop hand-wound ’50/’51 Blackguard pickups, delivering the cutting bridge tones, woody neck response and dynamic touch sensitivity that define the classic Telecaster sound. The ’51 Modified Nocaster® wiring provides additional tonal versatility, while the three-saddle brass bridge, vintage-style tuners and 1-ply black pickguard complete the authentic early-’50s specification.

Presented with a Deluxe Hardshell Case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity, this is a highly considered Custom Shop interpretation of a landmark Fender design, combining period-correct aesthetics with the precision and playability expected from the Fender Custom Shop.
